Early Life and Education

Nancy Ruth Mace was born on December 4, 1977, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Her family has a strong military history, and Mace's father was a Citadel graduate. She followed in his footsteps, becoming the first woman to graduate from The Citadel in 1999.

Mace earned her bachelor's degree in business administration and worked as a financial analyst before entering politics.

Political Career

In 2017, Mace was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives, where she served until 2020. She was a vocal advocate for conservative values and fiscal responsibility.

In 2020, Mace ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in South Carolina's 1st congressional district. She defeated the incumbent Democrat, Joe Cunningham, and became the first Republican woman to represent South Carolina in Congress.

Awards and Recognition

Mace has been recognized for her leadership and dedication to conservative principles. In 2021, she received the Club for Growth Defender of Economic Freedom Award.

Mace is a respected voice in the Republican Party and continues to advocate for limited government, fiscal restraint, and individual liberty.
